Scott Ryan co-founded Oakline Commercial Real Estate to provide a more personalized and locally focused alternative to traditional, big-shop brokerage models. Established in June 2025, Oakline’s holistic real estate model offers a client-centric approach with deep local knowledge – whether clients are looking to buy, sell, or lease properties across office, retail, and industrial sectors. The firm is based in Austin with a focus on industrial real estate throughout the five county Austin MSA.
Scott is a seasoned commercial real estate broker with more than 30 years of experience helping clients navigate complex transactions. Throughout his career, he has successfully negotiated deals totaling more than $750 million in value, consistently delivering strategic solutions that align with clients’ business objectives.
Before Oakline, Scott served as Vice President of Investments at Marcus & Millichap, a publicly traded national real estate firm. There, he specialized in investment sales, exclusively representing buyers and sellers of investment properties nationwide. Scott completed more than 200 investment sales transactions and held leadership roles as Director of the firm’s National Office and Industrial Properties Group and Net Leased Properties Group.
Earlier in his career, Scott worked with Partners National Real Estate Group, a Dallas-based tenant representation firm, where he managed large industrial lease transactions for clients such as Dow Chemical and AT&T. He began his real estate career in 1996 with Olson Properties, a leading regional industrial and land brokerage company in San Antonio, Texas. Scott earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a Real Estate concentration from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and holds a Texas real estate license. A native of Central Texas, he resides in Austin with his wife and two school-age daughters and enjoys all aspects of the outdoors.
